Investigating the role of TLR9 in generating an innate immune response against bacteria-both intracellular (Legionella pneumophila) and extracellular (Klebsiella pnemoniae) and adaptive immune response against bacterial infection. Process of generating TLR4 and TLR9 double knock-outs to evaluate their role in host defense against bacterial infection. Role of TLR 9 mediated dendritic cell responses in Hypersensitivity Pneumontis.
