My clinical interests are in caring for patients with congestive heart failure and following heart transplantation.

Research Interests:
I have a specific interest in diastolic heart failure, a type of heart failure that occurs even though the heart's muscle pumping function is not weakened. I want to know more about the factors that contribute to the development of the condition, what factors contibute to sickness and death, and what possible treatments may help patients with diastolic heart failure. I am also interested in learning how to improve heart failure care in elderly patients.
