HIV- Participated in discovery of HIV and HHV-6. Ran The Center for AIDS Research and Treatment at North Shore University Hospital N. Y. and was Chief of Infectious Disease at North Shore University Hospital for 16 year and at Nassau County Medical Center for 6 years. Certified by AAHIVM and Infectious Disease. Knowledgeable about retroviral infections (HTLV I and II). General consultations in infectious disease. Expertise in viral infections and complex diagnostic problems, hepatitis virus, Staph aureus infection and bacterial endocarditis and infectious complications in immunocompromised host. Currently doing reserach on viral cause of HIV associated lymphoma.
