Research Interests:	1. The term of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) literally means "joint inflammation". Our lab identified one of the inflammation factor-Nitric Oxide could be stimulated by RA shared epitope. In ex-vivo study, excessive DNA damage also has been observed after shared epitope treatment. Further study on downstream of Nitric Oxide signal is in process. 2. Our labor identified the receptor of shared epitope. The kinetic and affinity analysis of shared epitope binding with its receptor, and potential inhibitor for this interaction have been assessed by Surface Plasmon Resonance technique. Further study on identifying residues involved in this interaction will be performed in bioinformatics and biophysical approach.
