Dr DiMagno's clinical interests include colon cancer screening, GERD, peptic ulcer disease (PUD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), celiac disease, malabsorption, and acute and chronic pancreatitis.

Dr DiMagno's research interests include cellular and molecular mechanisms of acute and chronic pancreatitis; pancreatitis associated with CFTR mutations; endocrine and exocrine pancreatic function in chronic pancreatitis; nitric oxide signaling in pancreatic disorders; reversibility of human chronic pancreatitis; assessing pain and quality of life in chronic pancreatitis; treatment of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency; and early clinical decision making in acute pancreatitis.
