Specialty: Gastroenterology
Clinical Interests: Dr DiMagno's clinical interests include colon cancer screening, GERD, peptic ulcer disease (PUD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), celiac disease, malabsorption, and acute and chronic pancreatitis.
Research Interests: Dr DiMagno's research interests include cellular and molecular mechanisms of acute and chronic pancreatitis; pancreatitis associated with CFTR mutations; endocrine and exocrine pancreatic function in chronic pancreatitis; nitric oxide signaling in pancreatic disorders; reversibility of human chronic pancreatitis; assessing pain and quality of life in chronic pancreatitis; treatment of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency; and early clinical decision making in acute pancreatitis.
