Sleep Disorders - Multidisciplinary

The Pediatric Multidisciplinary Sleep Disorders Clinic at the University of Michigan Health System is the only pediatric multidisciplinary sleep clinic in the State of Michigan.

This clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive assessment and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with a variety of sleep problems. The multidisciplinary team is made up of a board-certified sleep medicine specialist, a developmental/behavioral pediatrician and a pediatric psychologist, as well as sleep medicine and psychology fellows. Members of the team have expertise in the medical and behavioral aspects of sleep. Each child is scheduled with the appropriate member or members of the Pediatric Sleep Disorders team, based on concerns.

We evaluate a large number of sleep problems, including snoring/breathing difficulties, insomnia, bedtime refusal, disorders of the sleep/wake schedule, unusual movements or behaviors during sleep, nightmares or night terrors, and excessive daytime sleepiness.
