Pediatric Comprehensive Weight Management Center

The Pediatric Comprehensive Weight Management Center addresses adolescent obesity.

A multidisciplinary team includes a physician, dietician, psychologist, social worker, exercise physiologist, and physician assistant.

The Michigan Pediatric Outpatient Weight Evaluation & Reduction (MPOWER) Program addresses the evaluation and treatment of obese adolescents. This six-month intensive and comprehensive weight management program is designed for patients ages 13-17 with a BMI greater than the 95 percentile.
