The majority of care for children with congenital and acquired heart diseases is provided at the University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center - a world-renowned, state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facility within C.S. Mott Children's Hospital that is part of the U-M Cardiovascular Center. Care is provided by a team of specialized cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensive care specialists, nurses, anesthesiologists, radiologists and allied health professionals (dieticians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, etc.). In addition to providing care at the Mott, U-M cardiovascular medicine specialists provide services at several non-U-M facilities throughout Michigan.
