Stephen E. Sullivan, M.D.
Stephen Sullivan, M.D. was born in Santa Monica, CA and grew up in Phoenix, AZ. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in biochemistry, Dr. Sullivan recieved his M.D. degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in Neurology at the University of Michigan and stayed in Ann Arbor for his Neurosurgical residency.
After completion of his residency he stayed on as Neurosurgical Faculty at the University of Michigan. He subsequently moved to Minneapolis MN while his wife completed her advanced training in thoracic surgery. His family moved back to Ann Arbor in 2006 to rejoin the neurosurgical faculty at the University.
His special interestests include brain and spinal tumors, endoscopic and minimally invasive brain surgery, meningiomas, normal pressure hydrocephalus, Chiari malformation, most spinal conditions, tethered spinal cord, arachnoid cyst. He enjoys history, current events. and raising his family.
