Her previous work has included studies of the attitudes and practices of immunization providers, evaluation of Medicaid policies and programs, and evaluation of changes in health care delivery.

    • Research Interests: Dr. Dombkowski is a health services researcher who conducts research on the timeliness and completeness of childhood immunizations, pediatrics asthma management, and influenza vaccination among children with high-risk conditions. He has extensive experience with the design, development, and implementation of health care information systems, especially immunization registries and administrative claims data systems. Prior to joining the research faculty at the University of Michigan, Dr. Dombkowski devoted 17 years in private consulting supporting the information management needs of health care systems, managed care organizations, and public health agencies throughout the United States.
