Computed tomography is offered for diagnostic studies of all parts of the body. Among the special applications of computed tomography of the abdomen are CT scans to assess resectability of cancer and response to therapy, determine the source of unexplained fever, and help plan for nonsurgical treatment of aortic aneurysms.
