General Imaging (X-ray) - Emergency Radiology

The University of Michigan Emergency Radiology Division represents a specialized group of clinical imagers providing evening and nighttime interpretations primarily for the Emergency Department and Trauma-Burn Service. This rapidly growing Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department sees over 70,000 visitors a year. These radiologists collaborate with a broad spectrum of primary care and sub specialists, and see a wide range of both pediatric and adult pathology. The University is a tertiary referral center with a Level 1 Trauma Center, dedicated Burn Unit and Survival Flight crew. Equipment includes a state of the art 64-slice CT scanners with 3-D workstations, both 1.5 and 3T MRI scanners and digital PACS/Voice recognition dictation.
