Our Electroneuromyography Laboratory conducts a wide range of studies, including nerve conduction studies, needle electromyography, reflex studies, and neuromuscular junction studies to help diagnose peripheral nerve and muscle disorders. Included are disorders such as radicuolopathies, plexopathies, carpal tunnel syndrome, entrapped ulnar nerves and other nerve entrapments, amyotropic lateral sclerosis, progressive muscular atrophy, myasthenia gravis, polymyositis, inherited and acquired muscular dystrophies, periodic paralysis and peripheral neuropathies (including inherited polyneuropathies as well as disorders such as Guillain-Barre syndrome, chronic relapsing neuropathies and toxic-metabolic neuropathies, such as those associated with diabetes mellitus).
