Obesity and Metabolic Disorder Program
The MEND Division provides short-term and long-term medical care to patients who have obesity in association with another metabolic disorder (hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, or polycystic ovarian syndrome). After a comprehensive evaluation and in collaboration with the patient, long-term treatment plans are set. These plans could include individual or combined approaches, including bariatric surgery, medical therapies, nutritional counseling or eating disorder therapies.
