Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

Endoscopic sinus surgery is a new advance for patients with chronic sinus disorders. Surgical correction of underlying chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps can be achieved with precise techniques that avoid many of the side effects associated with conventional or external sinus surgery. Prior coronal CT scan of the sinuses will expedite referral and evaluation. Patients may be seen at the A. Alfred Taubman Health Care Center. However, most patients are seen at the Michigan Sinus Center in Livonia where a multidisciplinary team is available and CT scans can be arranged quickly if necessary. (See Michigan Sinus Center).
