U-M Addiction Treatment Services is staffed by psychiatrists, social workers and nurses who work together as a multidisciplinary team. We provide treatment to adolescents, adults, and older adults with alcohol and drug problems. Care includes intensive outpatient treatment (both day and evening programs) and regular outpatient treatment (including individual, group and family therapy). Specialized services are available for outpatient medical detoxification and for patients with simultaneous mood and/or anxiety disorders.
