Audiology and Electrophysiology

Provide routine audiologic hearing assessment for patients across the life spectrum. Also, conduct specialized electrophysiologic and neurodiagnostic procedures including:
- Brainstem, middle-latency and late auditory evoked-response testing to determine hearing sensitivity and site of lesion
- Electroacoustic analysis of amplification devices
- Neurodiagnostic evaluation (including EMG) of facial nerve function in facial paralysis
- Newborn and infant behavioral and evoked-response hearing assessment, including under sedation/anesthesia
- Neurophysiologic intraoperative monitoring of cranial nerve function in conjunction with neurosurgical and neurotological procedures to assist in the preservation of neural integrity
- Neurodiagnostic evaluation of patients with heufacial spasm
