MEDPATH (Michigan Emergency Department Patient Assessment and Treatment Hub) serves adult and pediatric patients who need additional follow up after seeing U-M emergency physicians for chest pains, abdominal pain, dehydration, asthma attacks and other serious conditions.
Patients are assessed and/or treated for 24 hours - until a physician recommends either discharge or hospital admission.
