The Radioisotope Ligand Assay Laboratory offers a wide range of assays using techniques based on the competitive binding of radiolabeled or chemiluminescent substances. Included, among others, are tests for various steroid hormones (including estradiol testosterone, growth hormone, progesterone receptors), alpha fetoprotein, calcitonin, carcinoembryonic antigen, C-peptide, digitalis drugs, ferritin, folic acid, acid phosphatase, renin, vitamin B12 and other physiologic and therapeutic substances.
