The Special and General Chemical Pathology Laboratory is a full-service laboratory offering a wide range of clinical biochemical testing. Analyses range from routine organ function profiles to specialized monitoring of immunosuppressive drugs. Methodologies range from high-volume, automated testing of samples to sophisticated and esoteric analyses requiring the expertise of physicians and laboratory scientists.
Many tests have been specially adapted to meet the needs of the pediatric/nursery patient population.
The laboratory is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
