High Risk Obstetrics, Gestational Diabetes
Our diabetes clinic team consists of doctors from Maternal Fetal Medicine and Endocrinology as well as resident physicians, nurses and dieticians. We care for patients with Type 1, Type 2 or gestational diabetes. Patients diagnosed with gestational diabetes attend a class to learn about gestational diabetes and blood sugar monitoring, and receive nutrition counseling. Our endocrinologists also are available for consultation about thyroid disease or other endocrine disorders during pregnancy.
