Our UMHS Interventional Cardiology Group is committed to providing easy access to our Interventional Cardiology procedures, direct communication with our Interventional attending physicians and excellent, quality care. We offer extensive emergent and therapeutic diagnostic and interventional cardiac, carotid and peripheral vascular procedures. We also offer other unique interventional procedures that utilize the latest technological advances and are not available elsewhere such as Percutaneous Left Ventricular Assist Device support for cardiogenic shock and high risk interventions, Alcohol Septal Ablations for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, Mitral Valvuloplasty for Mitral Stenosis, Atrial Septal Defect closure and PFO closure, Peripheral Arterial Angiography and Intervention including Renal, Subclavian, Iliac and Lower Extremity.
Additional services provided include same day patient consultation, patient office visits and physician to physician communication as needed.
For acute coronary syndrome (ACS and emergent diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, we are partnered with University of Michigan's Survival Flight who will assist in the timely transport of your patient to the University of Michigan Hospital.
