Musculoskeletal Radiology provides bone radiography as well as diagnostic and therapeutic arthrography and joint injections, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the musculoskeletal system, image-guided needle biopsy of musculoskeletal lesions, and radiofrequency ablation of osteoid osteomas. The Department of Radiology also provides consultation on bone examinations from outside of the U-M Health System.
