Venous Health Program
Director: James Barklow Froehlich, M.D., M.P.H.
We are excited to offer you a comprehensive, single resource for the treatment of venous disease through the new Venous Health Program at the U-M Cardiovascular Center. Our program brings together established and experienced vascular surgeons, vascular medicine specialists, interventional radiologists, and nurse practitioners to provide collaborative, multidisciplinary care in one central location.
Any patient with venous disease qualifies for treatment in the Venous Health Program. Due to the diverse background provided by our physicians, we are able to manage and treat a wide variety of vein issues such as deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins, venous insufficiency, spider veins, post-phlebitis syndrome, venous malformations and problems with single leg swelling. We also diagnose, treat, and manage the vein care of patients with more complex venous abnormalities, such as Klippel-Trenaunay and May-Thurner syndromes. Few other centers offer this type of complete, multi-disciplinary care in one central location.Appointment Number: 800-287-1082
