Drive-Ability Program
The Drive-Ability Program provides comprehensive and individualized clinical driving evaluations for patients with physical, visual, perceptual and/or cognitive impairments that may impair their driving safety. Our driver rehabilitation specialists have specializd and advanced training in the evaluation and intervention of these specific problems. Following the clinical evaluation, recommendations are made regarding advancing to an on road evaluation and/or equipment training. Patients and families are educated in compensatory strategies and driving equipment options. Coordination with the Department of Motor Vehicles and follow up with physicians are provided.
