Hand Therapy
Our hand therapy staff includes Nationally Certified Hand Therapists and Occupational Therapists who have specialized and advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand treatment. They work with patients to provide individualized care immediately following injury or surgery and also to address problems caused by disease processes and overuse. Our hand therapists not only address the orthopedic issues, but they are experts in function. They utilize a variety of treatment activities including exercise, modalilties, splinting/casting, education and adaptive equipment/strategies in an effort to return patients to independent functioning at home and work. Hand therapy is also offered at University Hospital, MedRehab - Canton, Domino Farms, and South Main Orthopedics.
