General Surgery
Representing the major disciplines of General Surgery, the six Divisions of the Section of General Surgery provide the full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care. The divisions are: Acute Care Surgery (Critical Care, Trauma, Burn and Non Trauma Emergency), Endocrine Surgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Surgical Oncology and Transplant Surgery. Referrals and consultation may be directed to the General Surgery office and clinics, to individual staff members or to the Division offices. Patient appointments are available at Taubman Center, the Comprehensive Cancer Center, Brighton Health Center, Chelsea Health Center, East Ann Arbor Health Center and Livonia Center for Specialty Care.
