Our Post-Polio Program provides comprehensive medical assessment and rehabilitative services to people who are experiencing the late effects of polio. A physiatrist (a physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation) will conduct a complete medical evaluation, which may lead to further diagnostic testing and/or to a rehabilitation treatment plan.
Our Post-Polio Research and Training Program provides educational and networking services and the opportunity for patients to participate in several research projects.
