Ultrasound
The Ultrasound service offers ultrasound examinations to both adult and pediatric patients on all parts of the body, including obstetrical and gynecological (as well as endovaginal) areas. Among the applications for ultrasound are: breast, prostate and other cancer detection; duplex and color flow Doppler evaluation of blood vessels; biopsy guidance; percutaneous aspiration; abscess drainage; intraoperative procedures; and musculoskeletal applications. Note: We also schedule outpatient appointments for the U-M satellite clinics through the appointment number listed below.
