The Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratories include the Electrodiagnostic Laboratory, the Electroneuromyography Laboratory, the Epilepsy Laboratories and the Sleep Disorders Laboratory.
The Electrodiagnostic Laboratory performs electroencephalograms (EEGs) and evoked response studies.
The Electroneuromyography Laboratory at the University of Michigan Medical Center is a leader in clinical service, education and research. The lab offers a variety of services including nerve conduction studies, electromyography, single fiber EMG and autonomic testing. These studies assist in the diagnosis of diseases of the peripheral nerve, neuromuscular junction and muscle, including disorders such as neuropathy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, inflammatory and congenital myopathies and muscular dystrophies as well as focal nerve lesions such as carpal tunnel syndrome and traumatic nerve injury.
The Epilepsy Laboratories perform intensive EEG and simultaneous video monitoring for patients with epilepsy.
The Sleep Disorders Center also offers nocturnal polysomnography and daytime multiple sleep latency tests.Appointment Number: 734-936-9020
