Major construction at US-23 and Geddes Road near main U-M medical campus
Beginning in April 2010 and continuing through October, a major construction project at Geddes Road and US-23 will disrupt routes that are used by many UMHS patients and visitors. This project will create new roundabout intersections that will eventually lead to smoother traffic flow in this area.
A second project will close eastbound Geddes Road between Huron Parkway and Earhart Road.
Until the construction is complete, you may wish to avoid the area. Try these alternate routes to get from US-23 to the main medical campus, where all three U-M hospitals and our Cancer Center, Cardiovascular Center, Taubman Center and Medical School buildings are located:
