University Hospital - Floor 2
Directions to University of Michigan Hospital Floor 2:
Parking for the University Hospital is in Parking Structure A. Use the North Entrance. Remember the level on which you parked. Bring your parking coupon with you to your appointment to be validated at the clerical stations for a reduced rate.
Locate the north parking structure elevator. Take the parking structure elevator to the 1st floor. Turn right after exiting the elevator and enter the Taubman Center. The Information/Registration Desk is on the left, where you will receive your "blue hospital card" or you may update your registration information.
Continue past the Welcome Center on your right. Go past the lobby, through the first set of double doors, and past Admitting (blue column). The east and west elevators and escalators are located on your left at each end of the hallway.

Einstein Bros. Bagels and Fresh N Healthy Cafe
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn left into the hallway. Follow the hallway you will see the cafeteria which is on your right. Vending machines can be found in University Hospital on Floor 2 next to the cafeteria and on the B1 Floor in the Emergency Department.
Ford Auditorium (Amphitheater)
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn right again into the hallway. Follow the hallway straight ahead, the Ford Auditorium is at the end of the hallway.
Medical Procedures Unit
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn right again into the hallway. Follow the hallway and turn left after past the Guest Assistance Program. Follow this hallway straight ahead, the Medical Procedures Unit is at the end of this hallway.
Pathology
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn right out of the elevator, and turn left into the hallway. Follow the hallway past the cafeteria, Gifts of Art Display and West Elevators. You will come to a hallway on your right, turn and Pathology is located at the end of this hallway on the left.
Transfusion/Apheresis
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn left into the hallway. Just before the second hall to the cafeteria, you will see Transfusion/Apheresis which is on your right. (If you see the Gifts of Art display, you have gone too far.)
Patient Relations
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn right again into the hallway. Follow the hallway and turn left before the Cashier's office. Almost to the end of this hallway you will see Patient Relations which is on your right.
Health and Wellness Resource Center (Health and Wellness Library)
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn right again into the hallway. Follow the hallway and turn left before the Cashier's office. At the end of this hallway, turn left. Watch for the signage for the Health and Wellness Resource Center which is on your right.
Diagnostic Vascular Unit
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn right again into the hallway. Follow the hallway and turn left after past the Guest Assistance Program. Follow this hallway almost to the end, you will see the signage for Diagnostic Vascular Unit which is on your left.
Nutrition Counseling
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn right again into the hallway. Follow the hallway and turn left after past the Guest Assistance Program. Follow this hallway almost to the end, you will see the signage for Nutrition Counseling which is on your right.
Guest Assistance Program
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn right again into the hallway. Follow the hallway you will see the Guest Assistance Program is located just past the cashier's office on your left.
Chapel
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn right again into the hallway. Follow the hallway and turn left after past the Guest Assistance Program. The Chapel is on your right. It is open for personal prayer and meditation. Regular office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Cashier's Office
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn right again into the hallway. Follow the hallway you will see the cashier's office is located just past the Friend's Gift Shop on your left.
Friends Gift Shop
Take the East Elevator to Floor 2. Turn to your right out of the elevator, and turn right again into the hallway. The Gift Shop is on your left across the hallway from the East Escalators. The gift shop is maintained and operated by the FRIENDS of the U-M Hospitals and Health Centers. It is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday and from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
