| Clinical Interests: |
A native Michigander, Dr. Miller received his B.S. from the University of Michigan and his M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He undertook both his general surgery internship and urology residency training at the University of Michigan. Following residency, he completed additional fellowship training in urological health services research at UCLA/RAND, and a clinical urological oncology fellowship in the Department of Urology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Miller's clinical interests focus on providing high-quality and compassionate care for patients with urological cancers, including the performance of laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery for patients with kidney and prostate cancer. |
| Research Interests: |
D. Miller's research, which has been funded by the National Cancer Institute and American Cancer Society, seeks to better understand how the health care delivery system influences quality and access to care for patients with urological cancers. |
