Clinical Interests: Lung cancer surgery, esophageal cancer surgery, surgery for esophageal disease (cancer, gastroesophageal reflux, achalasia, diverticulum, stricture), thoracic oncology, esophageal resection and reconstruction (replacement), diagnosis and treatment of lung and chest wall tumors, lung transplantation, surgery for emphysema (lung volume reduction surgery), and thoracoscopic surgery.
Research Interests: Assessment of methods of esophageal resection and replacement, combined modality therapy for esophageal cancer, control of gastroesophageal reflux, combined modality therapy for lung cancer, oncogensis of lung and esophageal cancer
