Clinical Interests: Dr. Rees is an internationally known authority in wound healing and has authored multiple articles on wound healing. He specializes in the treatment of pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and chronic leg ulcers. Moreover, Dr. Rees in a major participant in the University of Michigan melanoma program where performs tumor excision and reconstruction. He has a special interest in head and neck tumors where he has published on sentinel node biopsy for melanoma. He has a wide experience in cutaneous oncology particularly in Merkel cell carcinoma where he is a member of that tumor board.
Research Interests: Dr. Rees' research focus is wound management, wound healing, pressure sores, diabetes foot ulcers, and venous stasis ulcers.
