Anticoagulation Management Service
|
| Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines |
The patient must have a U of M physician.
New patients referred to the UM Anticoagulation Service take on the average 2-4 business days to open and become managed by our nursing staff. Until this occurs, it is the referring physician¿s responsibility to manage the patient's INR and provide dosing instructions.
