Tobacco Treatment
Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines

Refer patients needing or ready to quit the use of tobacco.

Group and individual programs are available

  • Groups are 8 sessions in 7 weeks.
  • Individual program includes five sessions with a counselor.
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit Contact physician regarding tobacco treatment medication
Patient Education/Information (includes preps) Program is free to all U-M employees, U-M Premiere Care, members, and UMHS patients with clinician referral.
Cost $100 for all others
