Vulvar Pruritus
Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines Vulvar care measures:
1) Topical steroids -
  Clobetasol 0.05%
2) For severe itch scratch cycle:
  Oral steroids
  Oral antibiotics
  Amitriptyline at night
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit Vulvar biopsy if indicated
Patient Education/Information (includes preps) American Society for colposcopy and cervical Pathology
Appointment Timeframe 1 to 2 months
