Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines
1)  Ice/Compression/Elevation
2)  Weight bearing limitations, with crutches, dependent on pain, swelling and instability
3)  Physical Therapy
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit Xray
MRI may be indicated
Patient Education/Information (includes preps)
1)  Refer to Sports Medicine
2)  Not all cases are surgical, further testing may be needed
3)  Physical Therapy may be indicated
Appointment Timeframe Acute or if Locked within 24 hours
