| Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit |
1) MRI
2) CT/Myelogram if patient unable to obtain MRI

| Patient Education/Information (includes preps) |
1) 90% of disk herniations improve without surgery
2) Non operative treatments serve to temporize symptoms as radiculopathy improve |

1) Urgent for progressive weakness
2) Emergent for associated bowel/bladder dysfunction
