Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines
1)  If open fracture, patient should go to the Emergency Room
2)  Immobilization
3)  Elevation
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit Xray
Patient Education/Information (includes preps)
1)  refer to hand surgeon
2)  may need occupational therapy
3)  not all cases are surgical
Appointment Timeframe Less than 1 week
