Constipation/Toileting Delay/Enuresis - Children 3-13 years of age
Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines The Pediatric Behavioral & Mental Health is dedicated to providing comprehensive assessment and treatment of children with functional constipation, soiling, and delayed toilet training. Treatment includes combined medical management and behavioral treatment and is offered in an individual or group-based format.

- Encopresis (Constipation and Soiling)
Appointment Timeframe Time to appointment 3-6 months.
Referral from the primary care doctor required.
How to Get Results to Consultant Parents/caretakers are asked to assemble previous evaluations if external to UMHS. Parents will receive toileting and diet diaries to complete and bring to their first appointment.
