Antenatal Hydronephrosis

| Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines |
Call pediatric Urology via MLINE for ALL bilateral hydronephrosis (day of life #1)
For unilateral hydronephrosis with normal-appearing contralateral kidney Renal/Bladder Ultrasound should be done between 7-14 days of life.
Start prophylactic antibiotics (amoxicillin 20mg/kg/day).

| Appointment Timeframe |
Refer to urology (moderate to severe dilation) or nephrology (minimal or mild dilatation) for appointment at approximately 1 month of age. Patient will get a repeat ultrasound with appointment and possible VCUG
