Enuresis

Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines Determine primary or secondary, nocturnal or diurnal. Assess for constipation. Consider referral to urology if suspect dysfunctional voiding.
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit All patients should have a urine culture and first am urinalysis to determine urine concentration ability.
Patients with secondary or diurnal enuresis should get a RUS
Patient Education/Information (includes preps) National Kidney and Urologic Diseases Information Clearinghouse (NKUDIC)
Appointment Timeframe Non-urgent: 4-8 weeks
