Colon Cancer (non rectal)

Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines

Referral is indicated if:
-	Patient has biopsy proven colon cancer. If patient not in UMH System, colonoscopy report, preferably with photos, and pathology report are necessary. If patient not in UMH system, pathology glass slides with report to be available at or before clinic visit for review by Pathology.

Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit

Additional tests that may be ordered:
-	Tattooing of the site if lesion has been removed by colonoscopy
-	CT scan with oral and IV contrast, chest, abdomen, pelvis, within 6 weeks - report and images (prefer CD) available for clinic visit
-	Labs: comprehensive panel, CBCP, PT, PTT, CEA
