Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines
1)Placement of suprapubic catheter, when necessary
2)Dilatation, when warranted
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit Urinalysis and urine culture with sensitivities to confirm absence of infection
Patient Education/Information (includes preps) Urethral Strictures

Preps:
Retrograde Urethrogram (RUG)
Uroflowmetry (Uroflow)
Ultrasound Postvoid Residual (PVR)
Cystoscopy
Appointment Timeframe Within 2 weeks
