Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines If unable to obtain an appointment at Taubman Healthcare Center, or Livonia Center for Specialty Care within two weeks, refer to Urologic Oncology UM Comprehensive Cancer Center
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit
1)Urinalysis and urine culture with sensitivities to confirm absence of infection
2)CT scan of abdomen & pelvis w/o and w/ iv contrast
3)Serum BUN and creatinine
4)Urine cytology to screen for malignancy
Patient Education/Information (includes preps)  
Appointment Timeframe Within 2 weeks

External Patients:

If scheduled in Comprehensive Cancer Center: External reports/records should be faxed to 734-647-8860.

All other locations: Fax relevant clinic notes, laboratory results, diagnostic test results, operative notes to 734-936-9127.

Films/CDs should be hand carried to appointment.
