| Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines |
Referral appropriate for diagnosis, treatment of asthma for pediatric and adult patients, with and without allergic triggers.

| Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit |
Patients can be given a peak flow meter and peak flow diary to keep track of 7 days of twice daily readings prior to physician visit.
|
| Patient Education/Information (includes preps) |
Peak flow readings should be brought if available, as well as prior results of spirometry if performed previously.
