Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines
Evaluation of suspected reactions to foods, including anaphylaxis, hives, angioedema, vomiting.
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit
Patient should be off of antihistamines for 5 days prior to visit for skin testing. Epi-pen should be provided if reaction was anaphylactic.
