Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines
1)
Exam for valvular heart disease, vascular disease, costrochrondritis
2)
CBC, PLT's, PT, PTT, UA, Basic, Lipid profile, TSH
3)
ECG
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit
1)
Stress ECG if clinical probability >20%
2)
Exercise or or pharma stress test with imaging if baseline ECG is abnormal or poor exercise tolerance
Patient Education/Information (includes preps)
Appointment Timeframe
2 weeks to 2 months depending on probability of CHD
